What it's made of

100% Italian linen. Nothing blended in, no viscose. Made in Italy

140–160 gsm. That's mid-weight rather than the light shirting linen most tops use, so it holds its shape, doesn't cling, and isn't see-through in a dark colour.

Relaxed and true to size.

Round neck, with a small keyhole and button at the back. The 3/4 sleeves gather into soft elastic cuffs, so they billow above the elbow and sit close at the forearm.

What it's like to live with

It's not itchy or scratchy, but soft and gentle against your skin. Linen naturally breathes and it softens with every wash and grows more comfortable with age.

It creases. Linen does, and this one is no exception — but the weight of the fabric means it softens into a lived-in look rather than sharp, papery wrinkles. 

This is the top worn with the Sofia Linen Pinafore Dress. The chocolate colour is the same across both.

Environmental Impact

Biodegradable: Linen comes from the flax plant and breaks down naturally unlike polyester which is non-biodegradable.

Microplastics: Washing polyester releases tiny plastic particles into waterways. Linen creates zero harmful plastic waste.
